Licensure / Certification
John has been licensed as a Professional Counselor by the State of Idaho since 2000, was licensed for independent clinical practice in 2008. He is Board Certified as a Counselor and Addictions Counselor by the National Board for Certified Counselors.
He has been approved by the Idaho Board of Professional Counselors as a Clinical Supervisor since 2007, and is also approved as a Clinical Supervisor for Substance Use Disorders programs contracted with BPA, and by the Idaho Board of Alcohol/Drug Counselor Certification (IBADCC).
A Certified Trauma Professional, John is trained in EMDR, and is the only therapist in SE Idaho nationally certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy.
He was certified as a Behavior Analyst in Florida in 1988 (the only such certification available at the time), and was licensed as a Social Worker in Idaho in 1996. He is certified by the Idaho Department of Corrections as a facilitator for the Cognitive Self Change program, by the Idaho Center on Disabilities and Human Development as an Intensive Behavioral Interventionist and Developmental Specialist for Children 3-17.
He is past President of the Idaho Mediation Association, and is approved by the Idaho State Supreme Court as a Domestic Violence Evaluator.
Mr. Condron is approved as a provider by many private insurance carriers as well as the Idaho Medicaid program.
